Which Countries Are Eligible For The Indian E-Visa?

Indian Government introduced the e-Visa system for the citizens of more than 166 Countries, to travel to India. All travelers except visa-free countries are required to have a valid India travel visa.

The e-Visa will permit citizens of the following countries who had passports to obtain the e-Visa except for nationals of Pakistani origin.

  • A copy of the biographical page of the candidate’s passport.
  • Colored passport size photograph

Additional requirements for e-Business Visas:

  • For this type of visa, the candidate requires a scanned copy of the biographical page of his/her passport.

E-Visa Application

To obtain an e-Visa India, candidates need to have a passport, a credit card, and an email address

The data provided in the e-visa online application such as name, place, and date of birth, gender, address, marital status, nationality, and passport number, is required to be the same as shown in the passport. Candidates will be required to visit with the passport linked to the e-visa online application.

Candidates will also be required to answer a few questions to determine their eligibility to visit India, e.g.; if they have sufficient money to support themselves on their stay in India, current job.
